Breather Tubes

  1. Annealing process at 1800° to 1900°F.
  2. Tubes are packed by hand using lint free gloves.
  3. Tubes can be cleaned using pure alcohol

Capillary Breather Tubes equalize the pressure between the interior and the exterior of an insulating glass unit.

Pressure differences which normally occur between the sealed air space and the outside environment will be minimized, thus reducing the amount of stress placed on the glass because of severe barometric pressure changes and eliminates the risk of breakage when units are shipped from severe elevation changes.

Capillary Tubes may be inserted into an insulating glass unit at the corner of the spacer which does not contain desiccant. (Desiccant dust may clog the tube, eliminating its effect.)
